We can accommodate your Schedule and to a package that works best for you. We know that it is important to keep things “Normal” while you are away, whether it be because of a job and needing a sitter for your pet or you are ready for that Vacation but worried about your furry friends and your home.
Tootsie Roll Yard Patrol Everyone will benefit including you, your family, your neighbors, and your dog. Weekly clean up keeps the smell to a minimum. Rain water carries pet waste directly into waterways. Many types of bacteria, parasites, viruses, and diseases are found in dog waste. For example, animal waste may contain harmful organisms such as Salmonella, E-coli, & Guardia that can be transmitted to humans or other pets. Roundworms and hookworms can be deposited by an infected pet and can live in the soil for a long period of time. People and pets could inadvertently step in the waste and transfer it into your home or car. Some pets may smell and eat their waste.

Dog Walks/SitterDoes your dog just need to get a little fresh air while you are busy bringing home the bacon? If so, we can take him/her once or as many times per day as you need. This is definitely our most widely used service! On these visits, we make sure that your dog gets to stretch his legs and an opportunity to do his business. We sometimes add in a little social time by walking with another dog from your neighborhood – a chance to make new friends! Of course, we always comply with local regulations regarding leash laws and picking up after ourselves. |
Vacation ServiceAre you and your dog tired of the time and discomfort of kennels? If so, we offer a great alternative we call "Vacation Service" packages. The 3-visit package goes like this: We'll come to your house early in the morning, take your dog out for his morning walk and feed him. At mid-day we’ll come back to take your pet for another walk or playgroup. Then in the evening, we'll take him out once more and feed him again if necessary. Sound familiar to your own schedule? Optionally, you can add either a day time or late evening walk. We will also brush your dog and administer any meds your pet may need as part of the package. |
Puppy Sitter/Crate Training ProgramPuppies are cute and cuddly, but the first few weeks can be difficult for new “parents” that work full time. Precious Treasures can help you crate train your new arrival with our new “Puppy Program.” The Puppy Program is a six-week program – for the first four weeks a Precious Treasures Pet Care provider will come to your home 3 times during the day to let the puppy out, play with him/her, feed her if necessary, then return her to the crate. For the final two weeks, the number of visits will go down to 2 per day. After the six week program, through a joint effort between you and Precious Treasures, your pup should love her crate. If not, we will continue the twice daily visits for another two weeks at the rate of one regular walk per day |
